Trustworthy data and checkable methods first — then the interface.

Jacky Kit's background spans physics and research, Unix systems and computing, creative technology, music and photography. He has been building online communities and data platforms in Hong Kong since 1997, and today focuses on big data, quantitative analysis and self-hosted AI infrastructure — from GPU servers and inference services to decision models, built and run by hand.

Method

01Build from the ground up

No surface-level tools: the data pipelines, algorithms and compute come first, built from zero.

02Every number traceable

Time goes into integrating, analysing and verifying data first, so every number can be questioned and traced back.

03Interface comes last

Only with trustworthy data and checkable methods does the interface come in — it presents the result, it does not stand in for it.

In this game

  • The map is generated from 51 cities' real coordinates and road network, not drawn by hand; the rules engine has automated tests and headless AI-vs-AI simulation.
  • Every AI judgement — question, probabilities, confidence, latency, source — is logged and shown live in the AI lab.
  • When the AI is unsure it does not bluff: calibrated confidence blends it with a rule prior, so each call can be questioned and checked.

Work

The same method — trustworthy data and checkable methods first, then the interface — runs through every project below.
